I have a WM 87120 NB100 front loading washer, after washing a load, and wanted to start a next load the machine kept giving me a door open error message on the front panel. I did a diagnostic reset, and tried to re-started it, washed one load and then the door error message. I watched some youtube to learn about the how the door mechanism works. I took it apart, nothing re-bent the copper contacts incase it wasn’t making good contact, re-assembled and did one test wash, and afterwards on the start of next wash the door error again. I finally gave up looked for the part number online, contacted the parts dept, installed the new part and the washing machine works without any problems.
