We are Pacific Specialty Brands Co. (“Pacific Specialty Brands, “PSB”, “us”, “we”, “our”.

Comments

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

When visitors submit a contact form on the site we collect the data shown in the contact form, emails and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. we will use information for promotional purpose.

We use a third party processor, Cognito Forms, to receive Warranty Service Claims made to us and for the Shop Contact Form.  Cognito Forms’ servers are located in the United States.  For this reason, when you use the Invoice form to submit Warranty Service Claims, any information you enter may be transferred across national borders and is subject to Cognito Forms’ Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, in addition to this Policy.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

We use WooCommerce to run our store.  We collect information about you during the checkout process on our store.

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

Products you’ve viewed: We’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed.

Who on our team has access

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us.  For example, both Parts Coordinators and Shop Administrators can access:

Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.

Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you.

Our Service Team has access to the information collected from Cognito Forms for the purpose of processing Warranty Service Claims submitted on the Invoice form.

Who we share your data with

We use Stripe to process payments made to us.  In connection with the processing of such payments, we do not retain any personally identifiable information or any financial information such as credit card numbers.  Rather, all such information is provided directly to Stripe, whose use of your personal information is governed by their privacy policy, which may be viewed at: https://stripe.com/en-ca/privacy.

We use a third party location software, WP Store Locator, to run our Dealer and Servicer Locators.  We only use the information collected to provide information about dealers and servicers in your area. WP Store Locator’s privacy policy may be viewed at: https://wpstorelocator.co/privacy-policy/.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
